Who says an English degree (or two) isn’t worth much? I was grateful for the chance to hone my writing craft at Vassar College (undergrad) and Columbia University (grad).

Over my two-decade career making sentences sing, I have helped to craft globetrotting special sections (Travel + Leisure)…dished up foodie newsletters (Food & Wine)…ghostwritten for a CEO (Forbes)…reported on the healthcare supply chain (The Economist Group)…drafted chapters for travel guidebooks (Fodor’s)…and much more.

As the Health & Wellness Editor since 2011 at Chronogram, which reaches more than 50,000 readers in New York’s Hudson Valley, I have penned stories on everything from mindfulness and gene therapy to radical remission from cancer.

In my most important job of all, I am the mother of two spirited girls. A vegetarian since 18, I’m on a quest to achieve stellar health without losing a sense of humor and joy.
